BBQ Beef Brisket

Ingredients
Brisket 4 pounds beef brisket 2 large onions, sliced 7 cloves garlic 2 c. beef stock 3 T. paprika 2 T. Worcestershire sauce 1 T. cumin 1 T. chili powder 1 T. dark brown sugar, packed 1 T. olive oil 1 t. cayenne pepperBBQ Sauce 1 c. ketchup 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 1/2 c. water 3 T. cider vinegar 3 T. Worcester sauce 2 T. Cajun marinade 1 1/2 t. garlic powder
Directions
Mix together the following BBQ ingredients: ketchup; brown sugar; water; vinegar; Worcestershire sauce; adobo sauce; garlic powder; salt & pepper. Pour into slow cooker.

Caramelize onion slices. Set aside.

Pat brisket with paper towels. Sear on both sides. Set aside.

Combine the following brisket ingredients: Worcestershire sauce; paprika; cumin; chili powder; brown sugar; and cayenne pepper. Rub all over brisket. Mince garlic and press into brisket.

Cook on low heat for 8 hours.
