Ingredients
Directions
2 16 ounce jars Pace Chunky Salsa-Mild (or your favorite)2 15.25 ounce jars black beans, drained and rinsed 1 cup chopped cilantro (adjust your preference)1 cup red onion, chopped fine2 tablespoons chili powder2 tablespoons lime juice
Drain and rinse the black beans and put the beans and salsa in a large mixing bowl.
Chop the onions fine and add to bowl. If you do not like the cilantro stems, pull the leaves off the stems and chop fine (we like it this way), approximately 1cup total chopped. You can use the stems if you prefer. Add more, less or no cilantro - if you do not like cilantro.
Add chili powder and lime juice, trust me, this really adds flavor. Blend all ingredients and chill over night and enjoy.
A couple of hours might suffice, the flavors seem to meld together better overnight. I usually prepare the night before.
