Ingredients
125 g (1/2 cup) nuts (almonds or other)150 g ( 2/3 cup) dark chocolate50 g (1/4 cup) coconut50 g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder75 g (1/3 cup) coconut oil1/2 cup milk (or almond milk)1 tsp baking powder1 tsp vanilla essence5 dates (pitted)2 ripe bananas2 eggspinch of salt
Directions
Blend half of the nuts into a fine powder and chop the rest into coarse bits. Chop the chocolate into coarse bits. Mix the nut flour, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, chopped chocolate, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt in a large bowl. Remove the pits from the dates and blend them together with the bananas in a blender. Melt the coconut oil a little on low heat and pour it into the date/bananas mixture, together with the eggs, milk, eggs, and vanilla essence. Mix it well. Pour the date/banana mixture in the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix it all well. Pour the cake batter in an oven proof dish, lined with parchment paper.
Bake the cake at 330F for about 40-45 minutes.
Decorate the cake with chopped nuts and coconut flakes.
