Basic (but delicious) Fried Pork Chops

1 lb pork chops1/2 cup flour (I used 1/4 cup in calculations because not all of the flour is actually used in finished chops.)2 Tbsp canola oilsaltpepper
Pour flour into a shallow bowl big enough to hold one chop at a time.
Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of each pork chop.
Heat skillet on medium to medium-high depending on your stovetop and pan; Add oil.
Dredge chops, one at a time, in flour and add to hot pan.
Cook 5 minutes, or until golden. Turn; Cook 3 minutes, or until done.
