3/4 teaspoon active dry yeast 1/2 teaspoon white sugar 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon water 2 tablespoons warm water 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1/8 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 teaspoons white sugar 3/4 teaspoon olive oil 1/8 teaspoon baking powderGround Beef 93% Lean, 6 oz med yellow onion, 1/2 choppedMozzarella Cheese, 2 oz Mushrooms, .25 cup Pasta Sauce .5 cupWorcestershire Sauce, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp Basil, 1 tbsp Oregano, ground, 1 tsp Black Olives, medium pitted, 10 olives, sliced
Mix together yeast, .5 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, and 1 tablespoon warm water. Allow to stand for 30 minutes.
Mix in 2 tablespoon warm water, 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons flour, 1/8 tsp salt, 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar, and 3/4 teaspoon olive oil. Knead until dough surface is smooth and elastic.
Roll over in a greased bowl, and let stand until triple in size, about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
meanwhile mix beef, diced onion, garlic, seasonings, cheese, mushrooms, Worcestershire, and olives together. form 4 balls and broil for 10 minutes or until inside is done.
Punch down dough, and spread out on a floured board. Sprinkle baking powder evenly on surface, and knead for 5 minutes. Divide dough into 4 parts, and place the piece you are not working with in a covered bowl. Shape each part into a ball with smooth surface up.
Make a hole in the bun and place one meatball and a spoon of sauce in each and then seal and place on a cookie sheet with the seal down to rise, leaving 1 to 2 inches between the buns. Let stand covered until double, about 30 minutes.
lightly go over tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until bottom is golden.
