Creamy Chicken Casserole

Ingredients
1 lb. Chicken Breast, cut into 1" cubesBroccoli, cleaned; cut into small pieces1 clove garlic1/4 cup onion diced1 cup waterSeasonings - to taste (garlic salt, pepper, etc)1 can cream of mushroom soup1/4 cup milk2 cups croutons1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Over medium heat in saute pan add chicken (cut into 1" cubes); garlic, minced; onion, diced; broccoli, cleaned & cut into small pieces; water; & seasonings. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

Prepare 9x13 pan, spray with cooking spray.

Line bottom of pan with croutons, layer next cream of mushroom soup, add canned mushrooms, pour milk over the top.

Drain chicken & broccoli mixture careful not to loose garlic & onions. Add this mixture ove the top of layers in pan.

Finally top with shredded cheddar cheese.

Bake in 350 oven for 15-20 minutes. Cheese should be melted and ingredients will have begun to bubble at the sides.

    This was great but I think the soup needs to be cooked with the milk and then poured over the croutons. Also, it says to add one can of mushrooms in addition to the mushroom soup. This was not included with the ingredients. I would definitely make this again with minor changes! It tastes great! - 3/7/08
