refigured parmesan rice & pasta pilaf

Ingredients
2 1/2 c hot water2 tsp chicken base2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil2 oz broken uncooked thin spaghetti1 c uncooked long grain rice1/4 tsp white pepper 2 tbsp shredded parm cheese
Directions
In med skillet, sautee spaghetti, and onion in oil til golden. Drain oil.

Add remaining ingredients except parm cheese. Cover and simmer for 15-20 min. Fluff with fork. Let stand additional 5-10 min.

Sprinkle with parm cheese and serve.
