Ingredients
Flour, white, 2 cup Baking Powder, 2 tsp Salt, .5 tsp Egg, fresh, 2 medium Granulated Sugar, .5 cup Milk, 3.25%, 1.5 cup
Directions
sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. in another bowl beat egg and sugar until thick. add with milk to the sifted ingredients. mix until just combined. drop tablespoonful of the mixture from the point of spoon onto a hot, lightly greased girdle or non-stick frying pan. turn pikelets over when bubbles start to burst on top surface. cook second side until golden. makes 16-20
