- Minutes to Prepare:
- Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
Directions
2 cups, Fresh Spinach2 tbsp, Flaxseed meal1 or 2 tbsp, Brewer's Yeast1 cup, diced Pineapple1 tsp, Fresh Ginger1 Banana1 cup water
Place the spinach, pineapple (sliced), banana (sliced) in the blender with water and blended. When mixed, added flaxseed meal, blended some more, then added Brewer's yeast and blended some more.
Poured into two mason jars, covered and placed in freezer or for a couple of hours (depending on when you want to have it... I have mine first thing in the morning, so I keep it in freezer overnight).
When I wake up, I take it out of the freezer and place on the counter. I putter around a bit getting everything ready for my day, then I shake it up and drink. It isn't the tastiest smoothie, but it is satisfying.
