Quick beef and mushroom pie

Ingredients
1 can of stewing beef in gravy1 tin of mushrooms1 onion8oz of plain white flour4oz of lard or low fat margarinewaterseasoning to tasteegg or milk for brushing pastry
Directions
make pastry rub flour and fat until resembles bread crumbs then add water to get dough chill in fridge or if short on time put in freezer for 10 minutes i use food processor for my pastry or you can buy ready prepared
fry onions and mushrooms if you use fresh then mix with canned beef
cut dough in half and roll out to fit your pie dish put beef and mushroom mix into pastry shell seal edge then roll the rest of pastry place on top
seal edge together with fork and brush pastry with beaten egg or milk and bake in hot oven until pastry cooked
cut into four or six pieces and serve hot
