Chocolate Marbled Meringues

Ingredients
4 large egg whites1 dash salt1 cup granulated sugar3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Directions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Heat chocolate in microwave-safe container for 1:30 to 2 minutes. Mix until all melted and set aside to cool a bit. Whip egg whites and dash salt until opaque. Add 1/2 cup of the sugar and whip until stiffened. Slowly whip in the remaining 1/2 cup sugar. When whites are stiff and glossy, carefully fold in melted chocolate. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 40-45 minutes until crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside. Cool on rack.
Makes 48 meringues.
