Irish Oatmeal Bread

Ingredients
8 oz (225g) Wholemeal Flour1 cup (75g) Coarse Oatmeal1 tsp Sugar1/2 tsp Salt1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda1 large egg10 oz Buttermilk lowfat
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix Flour, Oatmeal, Sugar, Salt and Bicarbonate of Soda thoroughly in a large bowl. Whisk the egg in the Buttermilk and add to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Place in a well greased and dusted 1 lb. loaf pan. Serve with butter and cheese or with jams.
