Italian "Braised" Boneless Beef Short Ribs

Onions, raw, 1 largeOregano, ground, 1 tbspChili flake, 1 tbspGarlic, 6 clovesTomato Paste, 0.5 can (6 oz)Tomatoes, red, ripe, canned, whole, no salt added, 3 canBeef, Short Rib, Boneless, 50 oz
Chop the onion and garlic and add to a bowl with the oregano chili flake and tomato paste; combine. Microwave the contents for about 5 minutes until slightly softened. While that is cooking, brown the boneless ribs in a saute pan with a little bit of olive oil. Once the onion mixture is done, add it to the crockpot and then add the drained cans of whole, peeled tomatoes. After the meat has been browned, nestle the pieces in to the sauce and tomatoes and cook on low for 8 hours.
