Introduction

I got this from an SP friend, but it wasn't posted in the SP recipe's, so I'm putting it in for my own tracking. It's super easy, and low in calories! Ingredients

    Note* I'm listing specific ingredients so you know how I calculated the calories.

    1 pound Extra Lean Ground Beef (96/4)
    1 16oz container Purity 4% Cottage Cheese
    4 cups Great Value Fancy Shredded Part Skim Mozzarella, (2 bags)
    1 24oz jar Bertolli five cheese pasta sauce (Ragu Six Cheese sauce is used in the original recipe, but my store didn't carry it)
    6 pieces Creamette No Boil Lasagna Noodles

    Italian Seasoning to taste.

    I also diced half an onion and added it to the beef while cooking.

Directions

12 servings. I'm not sure how many cups, I just cut the pan into 12 pieces.

Brown and drain meat, sprinkle with italian seasoning for flavor.

Combine Cottage Cheese and pasta sauce in bowl.

Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray, and layer with:

3 no boil noodles
1/2 meat
1/2 sauce mixture
1/2 cheese

Repeat layer and cover tightly with foil. Bake @375 for 45 minutes; let stand for 15 minutes.

    I made this the other night and it was SO good! I substituted ground turkey and non-fat cottage cheese. Besides that I followed the recipe and it came out great! The best thing is that my husband really liked it and we have enough for leftovers! - 2/23/12

    If you use Jennie-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey and non Fat cottage cheese and Healthy choice pasta sauce, it custs the calories WAY down. This was very good, but I use Ground Turkey, NF Cottage Cheese, Whole Wheat Noodles and less cheese. Still very good! - 1/23/09
