All-American Apple Pie Smoothie

• ¼ c Oats (We used purely elizabeth’s Original Ancient Grain Oatmeal, packed with good-for-you ancient grains!)• ¼ c Milk of Choice• ½ tbsp Chia Seeds• ½ Apple, Sliced• 1 Frozen Banana, Sliced• 1 tsp Honey (optional)• 1 tbsp Mixed Roasted Unsalted Nuts (Optional. We used almonds and pecans)• ¼ tsp Cinnamon• 1/8 tsp Nutmeg• Pinch of Sea Salt• 1 GoodBelly StraightShot
Combine oats, milk and chia seeds in a small bowl, cover and let soak in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight. When the oats are done, combine oat mixture, apple, banana, honey, nuts, spices and GoodBelly StraightShot in a powerful blender, and puree until smooth. Pour into a glass and top with extra nuts, a dash of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey, if desired.
