2 cups whole wheat flour1 teaspoon of baking soda1 teaspoon of salt1 cup of sugar1/2 cup of butter2 eggs1 teaspoon of vanilla extract2 very ripe bananas1/2 cup of lowfat buttermilk1/4 cup of chopped black or english walnuts
THIS RECIPE MAKES TWO LOAVES
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Mix together Flour, Baking soda and salt and sit aside.
3. Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs, and vanilla and mix. Then add bananas and mix.
4. Add half of flour mixture and mix, then add half of the buttermilk and mix.
5. Add the remaining flour, mix. Add rest of buttermilk, mix.
6. Add walnuts and mix.
7. pour into two seperate loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes
