Spaghetti Bolognese (Turkey)

Ingredients
Olive Oil, 2 tspsStewed Tomatoes, 3 cupsTomato Sauce, 2 cupsTomato Paste, 0.5 cup Salsa, 1 cupGround Turkey, 200 gramsMushrooms, fresh, 1 cup, pieces or slices Green Peppers, 0.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped Garlic, 4 cloves 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning 2 tbsp Chili Flakes
Directions
Cook turkey in olive oil with garlic and onions until browned. Remove from heat.

Combine salsa, stewed tomatos, tomato sauce and tomato paste in a large skillet. Cook on medium heat until bubbling.

Add cooked turkey, italian seasoning and chili flakes. Allow to simmer for one hour.

Add mushrooms and green pepper after simmering, continue to simmer for 10-15 mins until the veggies are a little soft.

Note: the longer you allow this to simmer on the stove, the richer it tastes.

    I made this without the chili flakes - was worried my picky eater would reject it. It was a good flavor even without them and the whole family loved it. - 4/21/08
