1 lb bulk Italian sausage2 onions chopped8 cups water1 cup dried lentils, rinsed4 teaspoons chicken bouillon1/4 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes2 packages (10 ounces each) fresh spinach coarsely chopped
In large saucepan, cook sausage and onion until
meat is no longer pink. Drain off all oil. Add water, lentils,bouillon and red peppers. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low , cover and simmer for 30 minutes.Stir in spinach and cook for 5 more minutes until spinach is soft.
