Crock Pot Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients
2 lbs chicken breast, cut up in pieces1 large onion, thinly sliced 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste 2 cups tomato sauce, no salt added 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tsp oregano 1 tsp basil 1 tsp salt 4 oz dry white wine 1 tbsp olive oil1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
1. Place onions in bottom of crock pot.
2. Add chicken pieces.
3. Stir all the other ingredients together.
4. Pour over chicken.
5. Cook on low heat 7 to 9 hours of high for 3 to 4 hours.
6. Serve over pasta or rice.
