Ingredients
Directions
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour 1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 0.5 cup (not packed) Raisins 4 tsp Granulated Sugar 0.25 cup Dairy, Milk - Whole 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground 1 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 3 tsp Baking Powder 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Put all of your dry ingredients into a mixing bowl, add all of the wet ingredients. Add the raisins and you are ready to go! This will make between 6 and 8 waffles - if you add a little more water to thin it down to stretch it out then each waffle becomes less calorific per waffle! I usually have 1 or 2 as a serving making these roughtly 116 calories per waffle in a batch of 8 BEFORE toppings. I usually top with just a little olive oil or light syrup. The one pictured is a plate scapers chocolate syrup.
Serving Size: Makes 6 to 8 generous size waffles!
