Sausage, Potato and Kale Soup

Ingredients
8 serving Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage Patty - 2 patties 2 tbsp Butter, unsalted 3 clove Garlic 4 cup, chopped Kale 4 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potato, raw 1 cup Half and Half Cream 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Pepper, black 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (by TORI7HARRISON) .25 tsp Nutmeg, ground 4 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth
Directions
Brown sausage in a large kettle over medium-high heat, breaking into small pieces. Once it's almost crispy, remove from pan. Add butter, garlic, salt and pepper to kettle, reducing to medium-low heat. Once melted, add kale by handfuls and stirring until it cooks down. Add potatoes and chicken broth. Simmer until potatoes are done. Add half and half.
