Lentil and Ham Dahl Soup

Ingredients
1 1tsp Canola Oil 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 2 clove Garlic 4 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1 cup Lentils 1 tsp Cumin seed 1 tsp Coriander seed 1 tsp Turmeric, ground 1 tsp Cardamom, ground 0.25 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne 1 tsp Salt 1 cup, chopped Cabbage, fresh 1 cup, diced Celery, raw 1 cup, chopped Kale 32 oz Ham, Bone-In Smoked Picnic Ham (by STEPHANIED7)
Directions
Saute the onion, cabbage, and celery in the oil in the bottom of a large pan. Combine all ingredients. Cook in electric pressure cooker for 20-30 minutes or in crockpot for 4-6 hours.
