Ingredients
Directions
16.0 oz 80/20 ground beef chuck6.0 cup Spaghetti/Marinara Sauce (tomato sauce)2.0 cup Canned Tomatoes30.0 gram(s) Bread Crumbs, Panko (Japanese style), Kikkoman-1/2 cup, 30g1.0 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw1.0 tsp Garlic powder1.0 tsp Onion powder1.0 tsp italian seasoning
In a large stock pot (or crockpot) pour one jar of sauce. Mix together meat, egg, panko, and seasonings in a bowl. Roll into about 10 balls and place in the sauce. Pour the other jar and can of tomatoes on top. Cover with a lid and on stoce turn on low (I use number 3 on my electric stove) or on high in a crockpot. Once the meatballs are cooked, stir the sauce and serve on cooked pasta or vegetables.
The lower fat your ground beef is the less greasy the sauce... if you are cooking a higher fat beef and want to avoid the grease, i would cook these without the sauce in an oven until brown, then add to the sauce.
