Chicken a la King for Crockpot

Ingredients
24 oz chicken breast1/2 cup chopped green peppers1/4 cup chopped onion1/2 cup chopped celery2 oz jar pimentos4 oz can mushrooms2-10 oz cans cream of chicken soup10 oz pkg frozen peas
Directions
Combine all ingredients except peas in a slow cooker. Stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low for 6 - 7 hours. One hour before serving, turn cooker to high and add peas. Makes 15 servings.

    I used red pepper instead of pimentos and added some seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, celery salt). This was great, thanks for the recipe! - 4/8/09

    I added 2 cloves of garlic and 1.5Tbsp of soy sauce. I also used one can of cream of chicken and one can of cream of mushroom. We ate this over rice and it was delicious!! This is also a great make extras and freeze it meal. Thank you!!! - 10/11/08
