Italian Style sausage with rice

Ingredients
4.0 link, 4/lb Italian Sausage, pork; cut into 1-inch pieces1.0 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper1.0 cup, sliced Onions, raw0.5 tsp Salt0.25 tsp Pepper, black1.0 cup Newman's Own Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce1.75 cup Bush's Pinto Beans4.0 serving Brown rice (1 cup cooked)
Directions
1. Brown sausage in a large skillet for 6 to 8 minutes over medium heat. Drain fat. Place all ingredients except rice into slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours. 2. Serve with rice.
