Spicy Chicken with Bottle Gourd

Ingredients
* *Canola Oil, 2 tbsp * Cumin Seed (jeera), 4 tsp * Asafoetida Powder, .5 tsp * Red Onion, 250 gram(s) * Garlic, 10 grams * Ginger Root, 10 grams * Red Ripe Tomatoes, 180 grams * Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, 300 gram(s) * Turmeric Powder (haldi), 1 tsp * Curry Powder (garam masala), 1 tsp * Red Chili Powder, 1 tsp * *Coriander seed, 2 tsp * Salt, .5 tsp * Yogurt, plain, low fat, .5 cup (8 fl oz) * Bottle Gourd (Lauki), 300 gram(s)
Directions
Fry the spices in oil
Put onion, ginger, garlic and let it cook for 10 mins on medium. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 mins
Put chicken, salt, yogurt and bottle gourd.
Add 1/2 cup water and let it simmer for 30-35 mins.
Mash with a big spoon if desired.
