Green Beans Fresh

Ingredients
4.0 serving Fresh Green Beans (1 cup) approximately 1 and 1/2 lb1.0 serving(s) medium sweet onion2.0 tbsp Hormel Bacon Bits2 tbsp. Olive oilWater
Directions
Cut both ends off each bean. Place all beans in strainer and run cold water over them. Put beans in 3 quart saucepan. Add a little olive oil in bottom of pan. Turn heat on high and keep stirring the beans until they all turn a bright green! When it looks like they have all turned, cover with cold water, just up to top of beans. Heat on high till boiling, then turn down to a simmer. In the meantime, dice the onion in small pieces and add to beans. Add the bacon bits. Cook on low heat until all water is gone. Lightly cover the pan while cooking. Delicious!! Pat Pavlic
