Ingredients
Directions
2 pie shells6 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1.5 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whip Heavy Whipping Cream .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 1 cup, chopped or diced Broccoli, fresh 1 unit, cooked (yield from 1 lb Bacon, pork, microwaved .5 cup Spinach, fresh 1 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese .5 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
First prep onions, broccoli and bacon. Then combine the heavy cream and eggs and scramble them. The mixture should fill both pie shells about three-fourths of the way. Mix in a bowl onions, broccoli, bacon, spinach and half of the cheese. After combined, split evenly between the two shells. Then, using the remainder cheddar and parmesan top off your quiches.
Bake at 325 for 20 minutes. The quiche should be a little golden brown around the edges but still gooey in the middle. Cover your quiche with tin foil that has been sprayed with Pam or something equivalent (the cheese likes to stick to the foil) not too tightly because the eggs will rise. After covering with foil turn the oven down to 275, the quiche should be ready in 35- 40 minutes. To check the quiche you can stick a fork in the middle to check it, the fork should come out clean.
Enjoy after cooking or let it cool and refrigerate for the mornings when you need a convenient breakfast. Microwaves great and freezes well too! Combine this with the Berry Kale Smoothie and you're set for the start of a great day. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so eat up!
