Kentucky Blackberry Jam Cake

Cake:1 box (18 ounces) chocolate fudge cake mix1 cup seedless blackberry jam1 cup buttermilk2/3 cup oil3 large eggs1/2 teaspoon cinnamon1/2 teaspoon allspice1/4 teaspoon nutmegChocolate Frosting:6 tbsp milk6 tbsp butter, softened1-1/2 cups sugar1 cup chocolate chips1 dash vanilla
Cake:
Beat cake mix, jam, buttermilk, oil, eggs, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg on low speed 30 seconds. Increase speed to medium and beat 1 1/2 minutes longer or until smooth.
Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 34 minutes. or until cake tests done.
Let cool 10 minutes, then remove from pans.
Chocolate Frosting:
Combine the milk, butter, and sugar together in a saucepan and bring to a boil; allow to cook at a rolling boil for 30 seconds and immediately remove from heat.
Add the chocolate chips and vanilla to the milk mixture and stir until the chips are completely melted.
Pour immediately over warm cake.
