Tonya's Corn Muffins

Ingredients
1.0 tsp Salt3.5 tsp Baking Powder0.3 cup, packed Brown Sugar0.3 cup Granulated Sugar1.0 cup Yellow Cornmeal5.3 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil1.0 cup Dairy, Milk - Whole - 1 cup1.0 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour1.0 serving Egg - Large (1 egg)
Directions
Pre heat oven to 375°. In a bowl mix corn meal and milk, cover bowl with dish towel and let sit for 10 minutes. Give a quick stir, then add egg and vegetable oil. Mix all dry ingredients into separate bowl, and incorporate into cornmeal mixture a third at a time. Spoon into lined muffin tins. Bake 20-25 min or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Enjoy! Serving Size: Makes 15 individual muffins
