Curried Lentil Soup

Ingredients
500 gram(s) Split Red Lentils 400 gram(s) Tinned Tomatoes, Wattie's, Indian Style (NZ) 1 large Onions, chopped1 large Carrot, chopped0.5 cup Spinach, chopped1 tbsp Curry powder Water or stock (calories for stock not included)Salt & pepper
Directions
Place all ingredients in saucepan adding enough water or stock to make up to 2 ½ litres. Bring to boil. Simmer until cooked (an hour or so). Keep a careful watch, adding more water and stirring regularly as tends to stick to bottom of pan. Season to taste.
