Beef Pho

Ingredients
3 serving Pacific Natural Foods Beef Broth, 1 cup 1 slices (1" dia) Ginger Root 2 serving Star anise (by _VALEO_) 1 serving Cinnamon stick (by WOMACKFAM5) 4 oz Beef sirlion strip steak (by TGASH70) 2 tbsp Fish Sauce 100 gram(s) Rice Noodles - Dried rice stick (by RSIMPSON20) 1 dash Pepper, black 1 cup *Bean Sprout, fresh (by SUNSETWATCHER) .5 cup Cilantro (leaves, fresh) (by WORDMULE) 1 oz Hot cherry pepper (one fresh pepper) (by ZIGWEEGWEE) 16 tbsp Basil 1 fruit (2" dia) Limes 1 medium (4-1/8" long) Scallions, raw
Directions
In a two quart sauce pan, bring broth, ginger, Start anise pods and cinnamon. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 15 to 20 min. Meanwhile slice the beef paper thin (easy to do if beef is semi frozen) Soak rice sticks in boiling water until soft. Drain and split noodles and beef between two bowls. After broth is simmered, add the fish sauce.

Pour the very hot broth over the noodles and beef. The beef with cook from the hot broth. Add bean sprouts, basil (I like to use Thai Basil), cilantro, peppers scallions. Squeeze lime over soup if desired.

A drop of Hosin sauce or hot sauce can also be added
