1.0 tsp Cumin seed1.0 tsp Pepper, black1.0 tsp Salt2.0 cup, chopped Carrots, raw4.0 cloves Garlic1.5 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh1.0 cup, chopped Onions, raw1.0 pepper Jalapeno Peppers3.3 lb Beef, round steak3.0 cup Pacific Natural Foods Organic Beef Broth, 1 cup 0.5 cup Tomato Sauce
Chop and layer veggies in the crock pot. Hard vegetables on the bottom. Top with garlic, cumin, tomato sauce and broth add meat seasoned with salt and pepper to the top. Cook on high for four hours. When you can shred the meat with a fork remove the meat. Remove all fat. Shred the meat with two forks and return to the crock pot. Stir into the broth and veggies. Turn crock pot to low and cook for one more hour. Serve as is as filling for tacos or burritos or over rice or mashed potatoes.
