Turnips, fried

Ingredients
4 cups peeled and diced raw turnips1/2 cup chopped Onions,2 tbsp Olive Oil or other fat (bacon fat, lard, etc...)1/4 cup minced fresh Parsley Salt, pepper, onion powde, paprikar to taste
Directions
Steam the turnips until tender. Heat a skillet with the fat in it and add the steamed turnips and the chopped onion. Cook over medium heat until as browned as you like. Sprinkle with salt pepper, onion powder, and paprika as desired. Stir in the fresh parsley before serving.

(The turnips cook down to about half their raw volume)
