Beer Turkey on the Grill

Ingredients
12 pound turkeyPoultry seasoningLemon pepper1 peeled onion cut in quarters1 12 ounce bottle/can beer
Directions
Makes 15 6 ounce servings.

Thaw 12 pound turkey washed inside and out with cool water. Seasoned inside the body cavity with poultry seasoning and outside with lemon pepper. Place in an open aluminum pan. Place one quarter under the breast skin flap and the rest of the onion in an old disposable loaf aluminum pan. Cram the loaf pan up into the turkey cavity and pour a bottle of beer into the pan. Cover the turkey with aluminum foil to seal it and cook it over low-medium heat on the grill for 3 hours or until the meat timer pops up.
