Slow Cooker Lentil and Ham Soup

1 cup Lentils, dried1 cup, chopped Carrots, raw 1 cup, diced Celery, raw 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 2 clove Garlic 1/2 tsp Basil 1/2 tsp Oregano, ground 1/4 tsp Thyme, ground 1 Bay Leaf 4 cup Swanson Chicken Fat Free Chicken Broth Less Sodium 11/2 cup Cured Ham 40 grams Tomato Sauce
In a 3 1/2 quart or larger slow cooker combine the lentils, celery, carrots, onion, garlic and ham. Season with basil, thyme, oregano, the bay leaf and pepper. Stir in the chicken broth, water and tomato sauce. Cover and cook on Low for 11 hours. Discard the bay leaf before serving.
