Guiltless Picadillo

Ingredients
1 TBL olive oil1 red onion, minced finely8 garlic cloves, minced6 bay leaves½ lb 90% lean ground beef½ lb lean ground turkey, (no skin)1 bag hamburger style soy crumbles1 14 1/2-ounce can diced tomatoes in juice3/4 cup golden raisins3/4 cup sliced salad olives1/4 cup tomato paste1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar1 teaspoon chili powder1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper1 tsp cumin powder ½ teaspoon each salt and pepper
Directions
1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
2.Add onion, garlic, and bay leaves; sauté until onions is soft, about 5 minutes.
3. Add turkey, beef and soy crumbles; sauté until cooked, about 7 minutes.
4. Add all remaining ingredients.
5. Simmer until picadillo thickens, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes.
