English muffins

Ingredients
*Organic All-Purpose White Flour, 1 cup (remove)*Whole Wheat Flour, 1.25 cup (remove)Milk, 1%, 1.25 cup (remove)*Shortening, Crisco, 1 tbsp (remove)Granulated Sugar, 3 tsp (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)Yeast, bakers, 1 ounce (remove)
Directions
Mix sugar, active dry yeast, shortening and warm water and let it stand for 10 min to activate the yeast.
Mix all dry ingredients together and add the above yeast mix. Stir to mix. Slowly add warm milk and mix it well. let it rest for 45 min in a warm place.
Heat griddle. Drop big spoonfuls and cook on both sides.
