Ham and Rice

Ingredients
1.0 stick Butter, salted1.0 tbsp Garlic powder0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth1.5 cup, diced Ham, regular (11% fat)1.0 cup, chopped Onions, raw1.0 cup, chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers)3.0 cup White Rice, medium grain
Directions
Brown meat in half a stick of butter in a screaming hot pot. Rrmove meat. Add onions, peppers, and garlic powder and heat until soft. Add meat back in and mix. Turn down to medium heat. Add rice. Add broth and other half of butter stick. Add warm water until it covers the rice by 1/4 inch. Cover and leave for 35 minutes. Do not stir. Serving Size: 1 Cup
