Lemon Linguine with Salmon

1 tbsp butter1 tbsp olive oil1 clove of garlic, minced1 1/2 cups fat free chicken or vegetable broth1 tbsp chopped fresh basil2 tsp capers1 tsp lemon rind3 tbsp lemon juicesalt and pepper12 oz linguine1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 4 pieces2-3 tbsp whole wheat flour to thicken sauce
Preheat broiler. Coat a broiler pan with non-stick spray.
Warm the butter and oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in the broth, basil, capers, lemon rind, and 2 tbsps lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper, and then add flour. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes.
Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water according to the package directions. Drain and place in a large bowl.
Place the salmon on a prepared pan. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 tbsp lemon juice. Broil 4 inch from heat for 5 minutes per side or until fish flakes when tested with a fork.
Place fish on a serving of pasta and then pour sauce over both.
