banana choc chip muffins

Ingredients
1 cup old fashioned oats1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking sodadash of salt1/3 cup brown sugar1 tbsp melted butter3 med ripe bananas-mashed1 egg1 snack size sugar free, natural applesauce1 tsp vanilla3/4 chocolate chips
Directions
Mix flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and brown sugar in large bowl. In separate bowl mix melted butter, banana, applesauce and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients until moist. Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake 350 deg for about 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
Recipe makes 12---and boy are these good.
