0.333 cup, grated Carrots, raw = 1/3 cup2 tbsp Peanut Oil .25 cup, chopped Onions, raw = 1/4 cup1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 37.3 gram(s) bell pepper, red, sweet, raw = 1/4 c30 gram(s) Bread Crumbs, Panko -1/2 cup, 30g 2 grams Cilantro, raw = 2 tbsp1 clove Garlic 425 grams Beans, black = 15 oz can
1 In a food processor, blend in batches the oil, carrots, onions, red bell pepper, cilantro, garlic, and black beans until it reaches a paste-like consistency.
2 Transfer the mixture into a bowl and add in the egg and most of the panko crumbs, saving some for coating later. Form the mixture into patties and coat with the remaining panko. Refrigerate the patties for about 10-15 mins. to set.
3 Pan fry or bake the patties. Serve with choice buns and enjoy!
