Cajun shrimp linguine

3 serving Barilla Pasta, Whole Grain, Thin Spaghetti (svg = 2 oz/56g or 1/7th box) 1.5 tsp Cajun seasoning 2 serving Cooked Medium size shrimp (8 shrimp) 2 tbsp Canola Oil 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 0.5 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper 0.5 cup, diced Celery, raw 4.5 tsp Thyme, fresh 0.15 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne 5 clove Garlic 0.75 tsp Salt 2 serving(s) Bay leaves 1.8 cup 365 Organic Diced Tomatoes 0.5 cup Half and Half Cream
Cook pasta according to package Directions without fat or salt. Drain over colander reserving 1/3 cup pasta water.
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Combine Cajun seating and shrimp in bowl tossing to coat. Add 1 tablespoons oil to pan and swirl. Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes until done. Remove from pan and wipe pan clean.
Add remaining tablespoon oil and swirl. Add copped pinion, thinly sliced celery, green pepper and 1 tablespoons thyme. Cook about 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Add red pepper and mined garlic. Cook another 3 minutes. Add pasta water, salt, drained tomatoes and both bay leaves. Bring to a boil. Then reduce heat and simmer about 5 minutes till thickened. Discard bay leaves. Remove pan from heat and stir in pasta and shrimp. Stir in half and half. Cook one minute over medium heat. Sprinkle with remaining thyme.
