Ingredients
Directions
I Can Chickpeas (garbanzo beans) *1 Can Wax Beans 1 Can Light Red Kidney Beans 1 Tbsp Dried Onion 1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar (or any type you like) 2 Tbs Newman's Own Light Italian Dressing 2 Tbs Newman's Own Family Recipe Italian DressingFreshly Ground Black Pepper to taste *All cans 15 oz
Open and drain each can of beans and pour them into a medium bowl. Sprinkle the dried onion (fresh red onion is good, too), then pour on the dressing and the vinegar. Sprinkle with cracked pepper. Mix to coat all the beans with the dressing.
Since it tastes better when the salad has time to mesh, I let the salad stand overnight in the fridge. If you used fresh onion you can chill it for an hour and eat it right away. It will still taste better the next day :)
