Lyn's Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients
3 tbsp Butter, salted 3 Tbsp Flour, white 1 clove Garlic, minced2 cup Milk, 2%, 1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese 2 oz Cream Cheese 1 dash Salt 1 dash Pepper, black 1 dash Nutmeg, ground
Directions
melt butter in a sauce pan, saute garlic in the butter on medium heat, add the flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg, stirring or whisking until smooth. Pour in the milk and stir until the roux is incorporated into the milk. Stir often. Bring to a boil. The sauce should be thickened and smooth. Turn the heat down to low. Add the cheeses stirring until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Serve over pasta, meat and veggies.
