Smoky vegan black bean soup

Ingredients
0.25 tsp Cumin seed 1 tbsp Basil 2 1tsp Olive Oil 2 medium Carrots, raw 3 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery, raw 3 clove Garlic 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 1 can (6 oz) Tomato Paste 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 6 cup Beans - Bush's Black Beans Reduced Sodium 3 cup Swanson Chicken Fat Free Chicken Broth Less Sodium
Directions
Heat oil and cook carrots, onion, celery about6 minutes. Add tomato paste and a half cup chicken broth and deglaze pan, about 1 to 2 minutes. Put beans, all 3 cans, remaining broth, seasoning and veggies into crockpit . Set on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
