Crock pot ham and beans

Ingredients
1.5 lbs Beans, great northern1.0 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, chopped1.25 cup, diced Celery, diced1.25 cup, chopped Carrot, diced1.5 lbs Ham, extra lean, diced3.0 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth3.0 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap3.0 tsp Garlic1.0 tsp Pepper, black1.0 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf1.0 tsp Garlic powder1.0 tsp Onion powder1.0 tsp Salt1.0 tsp Thyme, ground
Directions
Rinse, sort and soak beans overnight. Quick soak method is fine too. Add all ingredients to 6 qt crock pot and cook on high 2 hrs. Reduce to low for 3 to 4 hrs or until beans are creamy. Goes great with salad and cornbread.
