Chana Masala

Ingredients
3 tbsp Butter, salted 1 large Onions, raw 3 tbsp Curry powder 3 tsp Garam Masala (by CHIIEDDY) 4 tsp Ginger Root 3 cup Chickpeas (garbanzo beans) 3 cup Stewed Tomatoes 4 clove Garlic
Directions
Saute onion in butter, adding in spices and stirring. Let onion become translucent and spices become fragrant. Puree tomatoes and add. Reduce somewhat, then add chickpeas. Let simmer for a little while. Mash some of the chickpeas with the back of a spoon to thicken sauce.
Serve over rice, garnish with yogurt or raita.
