Pecan Pie Bars

2 C. flour1 C. brown sugar1/2 C. unsalted butter1/2 C. margarine5 eggs1 C. dark corn syrup3/4 C. sugardash salt1 tsp vanilla1 C. broken pecans
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Combine flour, br. sugar, then cut in the butter and margarine. till coarse crumbs. Press into a
9X13 in. pan sprayed with pam. Bake 10 min.
While baking combine eggs, syrup, white sugar, salt. and vanilla. Blend well. Stir in pecans. Pour filling over crust in oven, reduce heat to 275 degrees and Bake 50 min. or until center is set. Cool in pan. Makes 24 pieces.
