Lemon Buttermilk Sorbet

Ingredients
4 c buttermilk (2%)2 c sugar2T lemon zest (peel)1/3 c lemon juiceyellow food color optional
Directions
Chop lemon zest till fine. Combine it and all remaining ingredients in a large bowl and stir till combined and sugar mostly dissolved. I like to add just a drop of food coloring to give it a faint yellow color. Put in refridgerator till well chilled. Prepare in ice cream maker according to instructions. 1 serving = about 1/2 cup.
